PROPHETIC ENCOUNTERS OF GLORY!

“Matthew 17:1-3 says “ And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.” Exodus 34:29 says “ And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.” What did Moses see? Exodus 34:29 shows us the result of what he saw: “And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.” Why was Moses’ face shining? Because Moses had just talked with Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration, and the residue from that encounter with Christ left his face shining! In eternity there is no time! Moses, the prophet, stepped into the future and saw Christ! Not only did Moses have an encounter with Christ outside of time, but Elijah had an encounter with Christ in the mountain when he wrapped his face in his mantle!! It’s time to wrap our faces in the mantle of his glory! How we know it was Christ speaking to Elijah is when Elijah went into heaven the mantle fell on Elisha, just like when Christ ascended and the Holy Spirit fell on the day of Pentecost to anoint the church in Christ’s stead! Sinai was at Pentecost, the law of the Spirit of life in Christ. And instruction was given at Pentecost! Peter, James and John experienced glory on the mountain. Peter’s name means a piece of the rock or piece of the Stone! James name in the Hebrew is Yacob or Jacob, who God changed to Israel through an encounter. And John’s name means Jehovah has been Gracious, But you see, Moses seeing Peter, James and John there experienced it as receiving the pieces of the stone tablets that he was going to give to the tribes of Israel, because JEHOVAH HAD BEEN GRACIOUS!!!”
