About

Anthony D. Booker is a Preacher, and a Prophet, with an apostolic and pastoral call on his life. Anthony received the Lord Jesus into his life at the age of 10. Anthony lost his father at a young age and was raised in a single parent home and strayed away from the Lord. After a life of gang violence and imprisonment, Anthony was again drawn to the Lord. Anthony D. Booker was born again under the leadership of the Late Suffragan Bishop Robert A. Baggett Sr in 1995. After wrestling with the call to ministry, Anthony submitted to the Lord’s voice in 1999, and submitted under the leadership of the succeeding Pastor, the Late Bishop William A. Ellis. Soon after submitting to the Lord, Anthony had an encounter with the Lord where the tangible presence of God would manifest in his hands, two prophets confirmed that God would give him a knowing in his hands and the Lord was anointing his hands for ministry. Later He understood that the Lord had anointed his hands for healing and miracles of deliverance. In Anthony’s journey of ministry he sat under Archbishop William Hudson III, and Apostle John Eckhardt. In 2014 Anthony had another encounter with the Lord where the Lord told him that He would use him in miracles like Oral Roberts. In 2016 the Lord Jesus appeared to Anthony in a vision that forever changed his life and that the eyes of the Lord were unforgettable. The Lord told him in the vision that he would suffer for his sake and he would see in the Spirit. The discerning of spirits greatly increased in Anthony’s life after that encounter with the Lord. Understanding the awesome impact of the vision, Anthony received the call of Apostle (Legate). Anthony was affirmed  in  the Apostolic office by Apostle Tyrone Howell Jr. Anthony has ministered in prisons, and various churches, and his journey is yet unfolding. Anthony is in communion with The Ancient Church Global.

Anthony also attended Aenon Bible College receiving a certificate of completion and is a serious Bible student, and the Author of several books.

May this site be all you need it to be in this season; and we pray that the eyes of your understanding would be enlightened to see what God has in store for you.

A word from our First Lady

The Gathering Place

Purpose: To be a Habitation for the presence of God (Rev.21:3).

Vision: To re-establish the laws of the Kingdom of God by the reformation of His presence, thereby causing men, women, and children to be forever changed.

Mission: To usher in the presence of God through worship, the gifts of the Spirit, preaching and teaching the principles of the Kingdom of God.

“Turning cities upside down through the reformation of His presence.”

Confession for The Gathering Place
Isaiah 60:1-2 says “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee.”
And because Jesus has all power, I have power: to cast out devils, to speak with new tongues, to lay hands on the sick and they shall recover, to walk in the abundant life He promised me. This is The Gathering Place and to Him shall the gathering of the people be. We decree our confession in Jesus name Amen!

The Gathering Place

Statement of Faith

We believe in God the Father Almighty, who created all things by the Word which is the Son, who was begotten not made, of one essence with the Father. Light from Light, God from God, which never ceased to be God, by which the Son gave life to all things by the Holy Spirit who is God. These three are one, the blessed Trinity.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible and inerrant word of God in its original autographs.

We believe in the virgin birth of Christ, conceived by the Holy Spirit through the Theotokos, Mary his mother.

We believe Jesus died for the sins of the world.

Was buried and that He rose on the third day.

We believe in His ascension

We believe in His return.

We believe in the communion (Eucharist) of the body and blood of the Lord Jesus. The real presence of Christ (Transubstantiation) that it is Salvific.

We believe in the resurrection of the dead and eternal Judgment

We believe in repentance.

We believe in remission of sins through water baptism

We believe in the doctrine of impartation through laying on of hands.

We believe in One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church (None Roman).

We believe in her Canons, and her Creeds before 1054, and Her sacraments.

We believe in the Holy Orders, and that they move in succession.

We believe in the fivefold Ministry of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher and that these callings flow into the three Holy Orders of Deacon, Priest (Presbyter), and Bishop.

We believe in the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

We believe they are active and remain until the bodily return of Jesus (Yeshua) Christ from heaven.

How Water Baptism Should Be Administered

Upon the confession of your faith concerning the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, I now baptized you in the name of the Father, and Jesus Christ his Son, and the Blessed Holy Spirit for the remission of your sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
