“The Lord likens our salvation as the walls of a building: Isaiah 26:1,60:18 says, “In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks…Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.” Anytime a city doesn’t have walls it is defenseless. The walls of salvation must be built so the body of Christ can be fortified. Our borders have been compromised by those who are guarding the city. Nehemiah’s name means ‘Consolation of Jah’, or ‘Repentance of Jah’. Nehemiah began to feel extreme sorrow for the destruction of the walls and the gates of Jerusalem. And we are at a time where there must be repentance and sorrow for the fortification of the body of Christ. Ezekiel 13:10 says “…they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:” Ezekiel said that the Prophets have healed by seduction the hurt of the people but you built it incorrectly, with a false system. There must be repentance!”
