“Luke 17:20,21 says “And when He was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, He answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! Or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” The word “observation” means inspection, or ocular evidence, that is, by sight. The kingdom begins as a seed that is sowed, or leaven that is hidden. It is unseen, but it will be seen. The kingdom did not come with observation; but it came with a sound! He that has an ear let him hear! On the day of Pentecost, the kingdom came with a sound: Acts 2:1-4 says “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” The kingdom had come with salvation and strength through the Holy Spirit (Rev.12:10). The kingdom had come to house itself in the hearts of men and women and would grow into the mountain of the Lords house that Isaiah talked about, and all would see it (Isa.2:1-4). John 3:8 says “The wind blows where it pleases, and you hear its sound, but you don’t know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” While the Holy Spirit began working on hearts on earth; Christ also began reigning in hearts from the heavens. Through the Spirit He made us sit together in heavenly places in Himself (Ephe.2:6). He is now reigning in us on the earth, and us in Him in Heaven! John 14:19, 20 says: “Yet a little while, and the world seeth Me no more; but ye see Me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, AND YE IN ME, AND I IN YOU.”
