Deliverance can only come when people have had their sins remitted, forgiven, and released from them. You can try and cast demons out of people and have no success at all because: repentance has not been birthed to bring about remission through water baptism, which in-turn will be able to let deliverance flow freely. Because Jesus is the resurrection he didn’t need all those steps, but he told us to do it. Because people don’t have a true understanding of what deliverance is they can’t operate in it.
Acts 10:38 says “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” An Apostolic ministry that is based on truth will have this at its core:
Mark 16:16-17 “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;”
1) Repentance
2) water Baptism
3) casting out demons
4) Holy Spirit Baptism
Notice demons can only be cast out after sin has been cast out through water Baptism. Also notice that water aids in deliverance. In every case it doesn’t happen this way, but in majority of cases it does.
