Hebrews 7:17 says “For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.” Melchizedek in Hebrew. The word “order” means in succession or arrangement. The Greek word for order is “Taxis” meaning an operation whereby displaced parts are put back in their natural arrangement. Taxi’s take us to a desired destination in the natural realm. It is here then that we truly understand what Christ said “Do this in REmembrance of me”! The priesthood of the Body and the Blood of Christ places displaced members in their proper arrangement within the body. It is a remembering, a putting together of each gift in the body where it pleases God. Christ’ succession is forever!! We celebrate the death of Christ by partaking of the Eucharist! We become one bread when we take of that bread, Him!”
