Jesus poured out his soul in intercession. He emptied Himself. There is an emptying of yourself in intercession. Philippians 2:5-7, says, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:” The phrase “no reputation” means to make empty. God is raising up nobodies who only want the honor that comes from God only! God is raising up intercessors who are not looking for fame or notoriety among “the church” or those in the upper echelon of so-called leadership.
