Psalm 42:5 says “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.”
Psalm 31:24 says “Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.”
Romans 5:2-5 says “By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; [4] And patience, experience; and experience, hope: [5] And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”
Prayer points: Hope is expectation
1) Father, restore my hope where discouragement, fear, and disappointment have weakened my soul.
2) Lord, strengthen my heart to wait patiently on You, knowing that Your promises never fail.
3) I reject every spirit of despair, depression, delay, discontentment, hopelessness, and anxiety in the name of Jesus Christ.
4) Fill me with the joy of the Holy Spirit, so that my hope overflows even in difficult circumstances.
5) Lord, teach me to rejoice in tribulation, knowing that You are using every trial to produce endurance, character, and hope.
6) Father, increase my faith so that my expectation is based on Your Word and not on my circumstances.
7) Let every delayed promise come to fulfillment according to Your perfect will and timing.
8 Lord, renew my confidence that You are working all things together for my good.
9) I declare that my hope will not be put to shame, because Your love has been poured into my heart by the Holy Spirit.
Father, help me keep my eyes fixed on Jesus, not on the storms around me.
10) Open doors that no one can shut, and let my expectation be met with Your favor and provision.
11) Lord, replace every negative expectation with confident expectation rooted in Your promises.
12) Strengthen me to persevere, so that I may receive everything You have prepared for me.
13) Let my life become a testimony that those who hope in the Lord are never abandoned.
14) Father, let my mouth continually praise You, even while I am waiting, because I know You are faithful.
15) Grant me peace while I wait, and keep my heart steadfast in trusting You.
Let the Holy Spirit continually remind me of Your faithfulness and fill me with confident expectation.
16) I declare that my future is secure in Christ, and I will walk in hope, courage, and victory every day.
Father as we wait on you we trust in you! We trust you in praise! As we wait in expectation our heart is being strengthened!
As we wait in praise, praise is our weapon against discouragement!
Father we wait in hope with a pure mind, a mind stayed on you!
We decree and declare our expectation is arising and our confidence will not be moved.
We decree our expectation is in your word, your word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path!
We decree in hope, and we trust in the name of the Lord! In Jesus mighty name
