From the power of Satan to God!

Acts 26:18 says “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.” The phrase “from the power of Satan” can be also translated “from the power of the accuser”. How did Satan have power over Humanity? By his accusations against us:

How did he accuse us? Through the law!!!! Jesus says something in John, and if you’re not careful you would miss it, John 5:45 says “Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.” Jesus says that Moses, or the Law accuses us. Satan knowing that the law accused us also used what was good to be against us! The law of sin and death was created by the law of Moses. The law of sin worked in our flesh to fight against the law of God because our flesh could not keep it. The good law worked in my flesh a bad law that continued to kill me, because it judges sin, and if sin is alive in me I’m also judged by the law. For by the law is the knowledge of Sin. And the strength of Sin was the law of Moses; but Jesus took sins strength away by nailing the law to the cross therefore destroying sin in his body which was made Sin. He destroyed sin because the law couldn’t accuse anymore because it had been nailed, for without the law Sin was dead! And sin couldn’t be magnified when there is no law! That shows that the law which was nailed to the cross causes me to live without the law, because I live by the Spirit now!! Galatians 5:18 says “But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.”

Revelation 12:10 says “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.”

John 16:11 says “Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.”

Jesus bound Satan first by casting him out of heaven so he couldn’t use the Old Testament law against the saints anymore so he shut the mouth of devil:

John 12:31 says “Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.”

Satan was Judged at the cross. Jesus said I beheld Satan fall as lightning from heaven. God calls those things which be not as though they are. Jesus was speaking prophetically of what would happen after the cross. Satan falls in three stages: in his first fall he lost his archangel status, in his second fall which we are speaking of now, he loses his heavenly access into the third heaven and is only relegated to the first heaven, and in his last fall he is cast into the lake of fire.

By this being done by what Jesus did at the cross we have power over the works of the devil.
