The New Covenant is not the Renewed Covenant

Hebrews 8:13 says “In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.” Many would like one to think that Christ only updated the Old law, and renewed that same covenant with us today, but Christ blood established and replaced the Old Covenant with a New Covenant: Jeremiah 31:31-34 says “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” It would be by the Holy Ghost that these laws would be written in our hearts. John 14:23-24 says “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.” On the day of Pentecost, the anniversary of the giving of the law at Sinai, God gave a new law, the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Isaiah 54:13 says “And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.” The Holy Spirit would be the teacher in this New Covenant. Jesus mentions this in John 6:45 saying “It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.” John 14:26 says “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” In this Covenant Christ promised to abide with us forever John 14:16 says “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;” The Spirit of God would live in us and be with us: Jeremiah 32:40 says “And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.” And Jeremiah 3:19 says “But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.” Yes, we are in a New Covenant!
