Despisers of Dominion

Jude 1:8 says “Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.” These filthy dreamers here are those who walk in fornication, yet who have dreams and interpret them as a ministry that despise “dominion”. The word dominion here means government, and this is speaking of the context of the “faith once delivered”. The government then would be found in 1 Corinthians 12:28 says “And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.” Governments in this verse is referring to the Holy orders of Bishop, Priest (Presbyter), and Deacon. To give more context, the word “governments” in Corinthians means to steer, or those who have pilotage. To steer also deals with the male Ox who is castrated. THIS would mean that if the male Ox is not castrated it would be difficult to lead, but when it has been castrated it is called a Steer that can be used. The Priesthood “of some” were not married because they wanted to represent Christ who is married to the Church and Christ has a reward for those who do this: Matthew 19:12 says “For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.” And Isaiah 56:4-5 says “For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant; Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.” The “Sabbath” in this context is our New Covenant of rest in Grace. These are those have their flesh under control that they have made a choice not to marry (Not that they have made it a law not to) in order for the Kingdom to advance: 1 Corinthians 7:6-8 “But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment. For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I.” Be wise.
