The Strength of Grace

Romans 6:14 says, “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” But why would sin have dominion over you if you were under the law? It’s because for by the law is the knowledge of sin, and the strength of sin is the law, meaning the law magnified sin, and it’s offense against God. The law is good, but the good law worked in our flesh a bad law that continued to kill us. Sin is stronger in us when the law magnifies its error. This is why Jesus took sins strength away by nailing the law to the cross, for without the law sin is dead, and caused us to walk in the Spirit, because if I walk in the Spirit I am not under the law. You can only walk in the Spirit by the strength of Grace. It is the strength of Grace that helps us to say no to sin, and yes to God.
