“2 Timothy 1:6-7 says “Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” Paul told Timothy (also known as Timotheus) to stir up the gift of God in him. At times we have done things in fear, but NOW is the season to not be afraid! 1 Corinthians 16:9-10 let’s us know that Timothy was fearful in certain areas because he felt inadequate “For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries. Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.” Paul said to the Corinthians make sure he is with you all without fear! Timothy go forth in all that God said for you to do!! You are doing an Apostolic work!! Don’t be afraid but be strong and courageous!!”
