“Understandest thou what thou readest? And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me?”
“It was Philip who was called of the Lord to be an Evangelist that operated in the Holy Order of Deacon that through a Word of Wisdom obeyed the voice of God to go to an Ethiopian Eunuch and preach the Gospel. After preaching to him Christ, the Eunuch was convinced and in Acts 8:36 it says “And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?” It is imperative that we understand that we understand that Philip spoke to him about water baptism. The Eunuch says “See, here is water” Philip made sure that before baptism that the Eunuch believed in Christ: Acts 8:37 says “And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” The Eunuch didn’t understand, and couldn’t understand the scripture without Philip, a Deacon. It is important that we notice that this man did not lean on his understanding and say “the Holy Ghost will teach me” when the Holy Ghost led a Holy Ghost filled person to help him. May the Church become mobile to the point that they are in every place giving answers to questions the world is asking.”
