God is not DONE!

“1 Corinthians 14:21-22 says “In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord. Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.” The gifts of the Spirit were in conjunction to Israel’s or Jerusalem’s existence. Isaiah 8:16-18 says “Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him. Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.” After the destruction of the temple in A.D. 70 and the diaspora of Judah in A.D. 135 the gifts of the Spirit according to writings seemed to have ceased; but actually, they lay inactive during the heavy persecution of the church. If the Spiritual gifts seemed to have ceased it’s only because Jerusalem had ceased from being a nation in A.D. 70. Isaiah 28 says that God would speak to Jerusalem with stammering lips and another tongue but they would not hear him and because they would not take heed they would fall backward, and be broken, snared and taken (Isaiah 8:14-15, 28:9-13). Because God was not done with Israel, He pours out His Spirit in the 20th century on a group of Believers in California. The pouring out of the Spirit was a sign that God was going to gather the dispersed Jews from around the world. Isaiah 49 speaks of the gathering of the Jews by the Gentiles. This gathering happened after the times of the Gentiles were fulfilled, and as a result in May 1948 Israel was established as a nation once again. God is not done! There is an increase in the gifts because GOD is reaching the remnant of his people.”
