Ancient Faith!

“Jeremiah 18:15 says “Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways from the ancient paths, to walk in paths, in a way not cast up;” Another translation says in Jeremiah 18:15 NLT [15] “But my people are not so reliable, for they have deserted me; they burn incense to worthless idols. They have stumbled off the ancient highways and walk in muddy paths.” The Ancient path is the Ancient Faith. Jude 1:3 says “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” The faith that was once delivered to the saints is the Eucharist: 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 says “For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.” Many were casting off the faith as we read in Jude saying 1:11-12 “Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;” Core or Korah came against the chosen priesthood of Moses and they were destroyed from among the camp of the Lord. God chose Aaron and his seed as Priest. Even today, God has chosen those the Apostles have set forth to offer a perpetual sacrifice of the Eucharist in the Earth! These who do not understand the Eucharist are spots in the Love feast, feeding themselves without fear, but Paul even gave this warning when declaring what God delivered to him: 1 Corinthians 11:27, and 29 says “Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord… For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.” Jude goes on to say in Jude 1:16-19 “These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage. But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.” The word “separate” here means to disjoin as in making a party. Jude 1:20-21 says “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” We must build ourselves up in the Spirit!!! Father we pray for mercy!!!!! Jude 1:24-25 says “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”
