God gave Adam every tree of the garden to freely eat except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This tree was a tree of self denial. He had to deny this tree, meaning he had to deny himself. But Adam couldn’t deny his flesh and he ate of the tree. But Jesus, the last Adam, took up a tree of self denial, the cross, and destroyed the fruit of that tree, original sin, by becoming sin to get us back to a tree in the midst of the paradise of God. Jesus died on a tree to bring us back to a tree in a new Jerusalem! Jesus is that gift on the tree, the cross! THANK U JESUS!!
