Daniel 7:13 says “I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him…Daniel 7:15-18 says “I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me. I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things. These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth. But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.”
Daniel saw one like the Son of man coming to the Ancient of Days. Proper Hermeneutics tells us that according to John 5:22 which says “For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:” Daniel is seeing the judgment! So, the Ancient of Days is Christ, and the one like the Son of man are the saints. Daniel saw that the church looked like the Son of man. This is very encouraging! Ephesians 4:13 says “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:” Not only did they look like Christ, but they rule with him: Revelation 3:21 says “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.”
