The Law of Moses

“The Law of Moses CREATED the law of sin and death. What is the law of sin and death? It is sin in us that fights against what is just and right to God (Rom.7:5). The law of sin in our flesh was made alive by the law of God (which is good) through its accusation against sin, but our flesh got in the way of its judgement: Romans 5:20 says “Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound…” But the law not only condemned sin in us, but it condemned us, for the law was Holy and Good, but it never gave us the power to overcome what we were guilty of. Satan used this against humanity because he took what was good, to accuse and condemn us, but Jesus took what accused us and nailed it to the cross, and shut the mouth of the accuser! Before Jesus did this, Sin then was magnified in us because the Good law worked in our flesh a bad law that continued to kill us. Romans 7: 11 “For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.” Romans 7: 23 “But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.” The sting of death is sin and the strength of sin was the law, but Jesus took sins strength away by nailing the law to the cross, and gave us a new law, the law of the Spirit of life in Christ that causes us to fulfill the righteousness of the law which is love through walking in the Spirit. One must put to death the old nature through the circumcision of water baptism, to put on the new nature of the Spirit baptism!”
