What signs will accompany the second coming of Christ? Matt.24:27, says “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming (parousia) of the Son of man be.” Luke 21:25,26, says “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.” Luke 21:10-11 says “Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.” Luke says in the midst of an increase of Earthquakes in different places and viruses, or plagues happening in the earth there will be ethnic groups will be against ethnic groups before the coming of the Lord. An increase of hatred for the human lives of those that are different in color would happen before the coming of the Lord. Luke says that there will be “…signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars…” They shall be suddenly darkened. Peter tells us the same thing in 2 Pe.3:10, which says “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat…” The coming of the Lord will be very sudden, so we must watch and be sober. When Christ comes it will be a SUDDENLY like we’ve never seen! Climate change explainers would love to try and explain away the coming of The Lord with this is a cycle of the earth. 2 Peter 3:3-7 says “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” They are willingly ignorant! Have you ever heard of a person that was ignorant or not knowing on purpose? This is that generation. The Lord is soon to come! 2 Peter 3:8-9 says “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” God wants to save you! Many don’t want to retain God in there knowledge, so they become haters of God. Romans 1:28-32 TLB says “So it was that when they gave God up and would not even acknowledge him, God gave them up to doing everything their evil minds could think of. Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness and sin, of greed and hate, envy, murder, fighting, lying, bitterness, and gossip. They were backbiters, haters of God, insolent, proud, braggarts, always thinking of new ways of sinning and continually being disobedient to their parents. They tried to misunderstand, broke their promises, and were heartless-without pity. They were fully aware of God’s death penalty for these crimes, yet they went right ahead and did them anyway and encouraged others to do them, too.”
