PROPHETIC ENCOUNTERS OF GLORY!

Exodus 33:19, 22 speaks of Moses when he saw the glory of the Lord “And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee…” What did Moses see? Moses was placed in the cleft of the rock, that rock was Christ. But what did Moses see? Exodus 34: 29 shows us the result of what he saw: “And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.” Why was Moses’ face shining? Because Moses had just talked with Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration, and the residue from that encounter with Christ left his face shining! Matthew 17:2-3 says “And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.” In eternity there is no time! We need encounters from the presence of communing with Jesus! For Moses, the prophet, stepped into the future and saw Christ! For the NAME of the Lord was shown to Moses in the mount! Jesus (Yeshua) is the name! And Moses made haste and WORSHIPPED! Whenever God reveals his name to you, you need to worship! Not only did Moses have an encounter with Christ outside of time, but Elijah had an encounter with Christ in the mountain when he wrapped his face in his mantle!! It is here that we begin to seek the Lord!! It’s time to wrap our faces in the mantle of his glory! God gave Elijah instructions to anoint Elisha in his stead! How we know it was Christ speaking to Elijah is when Elijah went into heaven the mantle fell on Elisha, just like when Christ ascended and the Holy Spirit fell on the day of Pentecost to anoint the church in Christ’s stead! Sinai was at Pentecost, the law of the Spirit of life in Christ. And instruction was given at Pentecost! The encounter of the Spirit!
