“In the book of Daniel, he speaks about four great beasts that come out of the sea. The fourth beast is the Roman Empire. Fast forward to Revelation 17: 9-11 which says the following: “And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and the one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.”
The woman who sat on the beast was first century Jerusalem. The destruction of the temple and first century Jerusalem would be the fulfilment of the judgment of the great whore found in Revelation 17 and 18. Revelation 18: 24,19: 2 says “And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth… For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.” A.D. 70 was the year of vengeance upon the enemies of God. Notice what Isaiah 34: 4-5 say concerning his vengeance: “… all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as falling fig from the fig tree. For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.” The heavens did not literally dissolve in A.D. 70; but this is judgment language showing God’s wrath on a people The reason why Gods wrath was upon Idumea or Edom was because the Idumeans aligned themselves with the Zealots of Jerusalem. According to Josephus, 20,000 Idumeans helped the Jewish priest and Zealots fight against Rome in the siege of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. “The people of my curse” were the generation of Jews that died in the destruction of Jerusalem. Isaiah 34: 6-8 says “The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the Lord hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea. And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness. For it is the day of the LORD’S vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.” The Idumeans were judged with Jerusalem. Notice how Jeremiah describes the type of generation Jerusalem was: Jeremiah 7: 29 says “Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the GENERATION OF HIS WRATH.” Revelation 18: 23 says “And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.” Jeremiah 7 lets us know who this is: Jeremiah 7: 34 says “Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate.” The ending of first century Jerusalem.
The woman in Revelation 12 is the nation of Judah. Revelation 12: 1-4 gives an indication of who the seven heads are: “And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.”
The seven heads are the Herodian Dynasty of vassal or client kings that ruled Jerusalem for Rome. It is important to note that it was Herod that was used by Satan to destroy the children of Judah about 4 B.C. the child then, was Jesus the Christ. The woman in Revelation 12 is the nation of Judah who gives birth to Christ. The dragon was red, also identifying the Herodian Dynasty as an Edomite (Idumean) kingdom. Red is the color of Edom in the Bible. The seven heads are as follows:
1) Herod the Great
2) Herod Archelaus
3) Herod Antipas
4) Herod II
5) Herod Philip
6) Herod Agrippa I
7) Herod Agrippa II
The beast that was, and is not, is the eighth, Simon Bar Kochba of 135 A.D. The Bible says the ten horns will hate the whore (Jerusalem) 70 A.D. and burn her flesh with fire which I explained was the destruction of Jerusalem. The ten horns were the Roman army made of mercenaries. The Germanic tribes were these mercenaries, but the lost ten tribes of Israel were intermingled with the Germanic tribes as well.
The Bible says the ten horns had no kingdom yet, but would reign as kings with the beast. Rome had a kingdom, so it must have been referring to the Germanic tribes made up of the lost tribes of Israel which had no kingdom. The disciples asked Jesus in Acts 1: 6-“… saying, Lord wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?”
In Daniel chapter 2, Nebuchadnezzar’s image had ten toes. Daniel 2: 41, says: “And where as thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters clay, and part iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron forasmuch as thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay.” This was talking about the dividing of the Roman Empire, which happened officially in 476 A.D. But actually to understand this dividing we must go to the scripture for some insight as to the phrase “the strength of the iron”. “After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns (Dan.7:7).
A careful study of scripture will lead you to understand that the ‘The Ten Horns’ are the displaced ten tribes of Israel taken by the Assyrians in 722 B.C. 2Kgs. 17:22-23 says “For the children of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam which he did; they departed not from them; Until the Lord removed Israel out of his sight, as he had said by all his servants the prophets. So was Israel carried away out of their own land to Assyria unto this day.” And 2Kgs. 18:11 says “And the King of Assyria did carry away Israel unto Assyria, and put them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes:”
The Israelites intermingled with the Assyrians. When Assyria had fallen in 610 B.C. there is no doubt that they both intermarried with one another.
Micah 5: 8 says: “And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.” Daniel explains that the iron would mingle themselves with the seed of men: we explained what the word “mingled” meant in our other video; but this is the process of who the iron mingled with the seed of man “And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay (Dan.2:42,43).” The Bible explains how the iron mingled themselves together: Jer. 31: 27 says “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.” Judah returned to their homeland, but Israel remained among the heathen for their sins. It is true that Rome intermingled with the peoples of other lands, but it was with the Germanic tribes who were composed of the ten lost tribes of Israel.
As stated in our other video the ten horns scattered themselves and formed the ten nations in Europe.
The Bible says in Revelation 20: 9, “And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed THE CAMP of the saints about, and the beloved city…” Who are ‘the camp of the saints’? The word ‘camp’ means battle array, encampment or barracks, as in the army. As we look at Ezekiel 38, there are interesting findings that bring out fascinating details concerning the ‘ISRAEL’ Ezekiel is speaking of. Ezekiel 38: 8d says, “… against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the NATIONS, and they shall dwell safely all of them.” The word ‘nations’ here is not ‘Gowy’ which refer to Gentiles, but, ‘‘ am’ which always refers to the nation of Israel. God says they were brought forth out of Israel. Could this mean that God is referring to the remnant?
Isaiah 10: 22 says, “For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return…” Revelation 20, speaking of Satan in verse 8 says, “And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: THE NUMBER OF WHOM IS AS THE SAND OF THE SEA.” Hosea says in chapter 1: 10 that “… the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered…” This would mean that the unchosen multitude of Israel that were scattered among the Gentile nations and have been absorbed among them would come against the chosen!”
