Eschatology is the study of last things. It is imperative that we understand the context of the end. How politics relates to it. And how the church explains it is key.
Amillennialism means no millennium, or there is no literal thousand year reign of Christ on the earth. It is important to note that when Christ ascended to heaven after his resurrection he began to rule; but the spirits of the dead saints began to rule with him after the destruction of the temple in A.D. 70. We who are living are seated in heavenly places in Christ! Hitler is believed to be the Gog of the end time, and many “Hitlers” continue to arise before the coming of Christ. Christ will return after the millennium to resurrect all dead and to judge the world and bring in the eternal state.
