1 Corinthians 11:29-30 says “For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.” It is imperative that when you partake of the Eucharist (communion) that you understand it IS the Lord’s body and blood. For many are sick, weak, frail, and many have died because they have an improper view of the Eucharist: John 6:54 says “Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” For those who say that eating the flesh and drinking the blood of Christ is meant to figurative, why isn’t the resurrection meant to be figurative? Please discern the Body!
