“2 Corinthians 5:20 says “Now then we are ambassadors (Presbeuo) Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead (in behalf or, instead of, on the part of) , be ye reconciled to God.” Presbeuo means to act as a representative, it comes from Presbuteros (Presbyter) priest is the short term. In Latin, Vicarius (Vicar), substitute. The Priest stand’s in the place of Christ on the earth. The Church is the body of Christ on the Earth! We are to RE present Christ to the world. When a person sees you, they should see Christ. If he healed the sick, the hurting, raised the dead, then “we” are to RE present him to a generation waiting for the word to become flesh. The exhortation then is that you if you see Christ, be reconciled to God! Christ appearance on the earth was to be reconciliation in his first coming! But in his second coming; he’s coming to judge! So we beg you to be reconciled now to God before it’s to late.”
