The Marriage Covenant

There are three blood covenants in the earth: The Old Covenant, the New Covenant, and the Marriage Covenant. It is ordained of God that the male and female obstain from fornication, and to keep themselves until after they are married. The picture of marriage can be seen in the Old Testament Highpriest duties. As the Highpriest sacrificed an animal at the brazen altar with the shedding of blood, so it is in the marriage of a male and female. As the husband enters into sexual intimacy with a virgin wife, he penitrates the hymen and blood is shedd. The Highpriest goes into the INNER COURT to perform the duties of a priest, so now the husband begans to perform INTERCOURSE with his wife. The Old testament Highpriest went into the Holy of holies once a year alone, so also the husband enters into that place that is reserved for a husband alone. The husband becomes the PRIEST, PROVIDER, and PROTECTOR. He becomes the HOUSEBAND (husband) that fences and keeps the family together. He is ā€œlordā€ of the house, that is the keeper of the loaf, or the keeper of the bread. He is responsible as the head of the wife. Like Christ sanctifies and cleanses the church with the RHEMA, so should the Husband prophesy over his wife and build her up: Ephesians 5:26 says ā€œThat he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word (RHEMA),ā€ The RHEMA is the sword of the Spirit that is acted upon through faith. We fight with this prophetic word in battle. These RHEMA words received by faith will help you in your marriage. Ephesians 5:25, and the last clause of 33 says ā€œHusbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it…and the wife see that she reverence her husband.ā€ The word ā€œreverenceā€ means to be in awe of. But the word ā€œloveā€ in verse 25 means to love unconditionally.
