Revelation 9:13-16 Says “And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.”
Who are these four angels? These were the four angels of Genesis 6, who possessed bodies of men to cohabitate with the daughters of men. These four angels were a part of the third of angels that were drawn by Satan’s tail. Revelation 12: 4, says “And his tail drew a third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth:..” These stars represent angels, Job 38: 7, says “ When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?” and Rev. 1: 20, says “… the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches:” This however is talking about messengers sent from John to those churches, but you can see the connection with the stars and angels. The Bible says in Rev. 12, that the devils tail drew a third, this signifies that Satan was cast out before the third, for he “drew them with his tail”, and Genesis 6: 4, was the result. Rev. 12: 4, also travels back and shows an historical period when Antiochus IV, from 175-164 B.C. cast down the Israelites to the ground in Dan. 8: 10. Who were these four angels? To understand their background we must travel back in time to the book of Genesis chapter 3: 24, which says “So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.” The word ‘Cherubims’ is essential in our understanding in learning who these angels are. These angels guarded the Tree of Life; they were protectors who had the capacity of divine knowledge. They were multi-eyed creatures. In the process of time one would wonder what happened to these angels. As humanity began to multiply on the earth, do you think these Angels were still in their proper place of assignment? How many Cherubim guarded the Tree of Life, one might ask. When the Ark of the Covenant was made there were two placed on the lid of the Mercy seat. In Solomon’s temple there were two giant Cherubim in the temple. But Ezekiel chapter 1: 5-18, describes four living creatures with four faces each, and that had eyes round about them, their height was, as Ezekiel says, ‘dreadful’. In this passage Ezekiel is describing the glory of the Lord, and these are the appearances of the Cherubim in the vision. The word Cherubim is the plural of the singular Cherub. The Bible says God placed ‘Cherubim and a flaming sword which turned every way’, if you allow me to use my imagination, I picture four angels standing, or facing each other and in their midst a flaming sword turning vertically and horizontally in every direction. Well, what happened to the Garden of Eden these angels were guarding? The book of Revelation speaks of the Garden of Eden in chapter 2: 7, which says “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.” The word ‘paradise’ here means Eden. The Garden of Eden disappeared from this present earth, and will reappear on the New Earth: Rev. 22: 2, says “In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” But the question is, why did it disappear? Weren’t these angels guarding the Tree of Life? WHERE THE GARDEN OF EDEN WAS, ISRAEL AND JERUSALEM IS NOW! It is important that we understand that throughout the Bible the land of Canaan was on the mind of God: Deut. 11: 11,12, says “But the land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven: A land which the Lord thy God careth for: the eyes of the Lord thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.” Listen to Is. 51: 3, which says “For the Lord shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like EDEN, and her desert like the GARDEN OF THE LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.” Notice what Ezekiel says about the land of Israel in chapter 36: 35, which says “And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the GARDEN OF EDEN; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and inhabited.” But notice when Israel was to possess the land who were the inhabitants of the land: Num. 13: 31-33, says “But the men that went up with him said, we be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land though which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, WHICH COME OF THE GIANTS: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.” The Children of Israel were faced with a Race of Giants which were called ‘Nephilim’ the fallen ones, or which come from the fallen ones. They were also known as Rephaim. Those that searched out the land said they came from the giants. The word Nephilim can be traced back to Genesis 6: 1-4, verse 4, says “There were giants in the earth in those days; AND ALSO AFTER THAT, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.” The phrase ‘and also after that’ suggest that these giants survived the flood. Remember as stated before the flood was sent to destroy all that God created; the Nephilim were not a creation of God, he had another plan for their destruction. The Sons of God in the Old Testament refer to Angels (Job 38: 7). Jesus’ statement that Angels don’t marry or give in Marriage is true (Matt. 22: 30). But what about Angels who left their habitation and sinned against God? Once these angels sinned against God the Garden of Eden disappeared from this earth. But how do we know for a fact that these Sons of God married the daughters of men? it is important to understand that the book of Genesis’ genealogies are of note. Not only do names represent the character of the person and what they would do in the earth, but names represented what was happening in the earth: for instance if we look at Genesis 10: 25, it says “And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.” The name ‘Peleg’ actually means earthquake, or division. He was born when God came down and confused the languages at the tower of Babel. The Names in chapter 5, of Genesis give some key indicators that something was going on in the earth. Verse 15, says “And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared.” Jared’s name means “to descend, to fall down or come down”. It was in his time that the third of the angels had fallen from their estate to work wickedness in the earth. Verse 18, says “And Jared lived a hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:” Enoch’s name means to initiate or discipline, also dedicate and to train up. It was Jared’s responsibility to train up Enoch to be dedicated to the Lord. Indeed after Jared saw the wickedness in the earth he knew he had to keep Enoch on the straight and narrow path. Verse 21, says “And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:” Methuselah’s name means ‘it shall be sent’ speaking of the flood. Enoch was a prophet of God and walked with God for 300, years and saw the wickedness in the earth and saw the judgment that would take place. It is here then that we understand there is a book called the Book of Enoch, weather or not it is inspired by God is not the question here, but many of the names indicate the things that happened in the book. In the book of Enoch it speaks of fallen angels who married women, Jared was a key figure in the book, and the early church fathers referred to the book of Enoch. But the kicker is that the New Testament book of Jude also quotes the book of Enoch. The Nazi’s claimed that their ancestors came from a race of giants, and some have even suggested that Hitler, Goebbels, Goring, and Himmler were these fallen Angels. In any case, these were the four that left their celestial house and became disembodied spirits and possessed men, and caused them to cohabitate with women. These women bore giants who had a demonically over active Pituitary glands from the possession of these fallen angels inside mere men. These giants possessed powers of enchantment, and they also possessed secret knowledge given to them by the fallen angels. They also were destroyers of the land, by beginning to eat animals and humans. These giants would eat the sacrifices that were given to God by human beings, thus beginning to be worshipped by humans. These giants also had sexual intercourse with animals, and caused mankind to do the same. Men began to eat animals, and animals began to eat each other. The giants began to multiply over the face of the earth. The flood of Noah’s day destroyed some of these beastly men, for Job 26: 5, says “Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.” The word ‘dead’ here comes from the word Repha, where we get the word Rephaim; showing that when many of these giants died in the flood they became demonic spirits, for they were not human; but they descended from those four angels that sinned. This also lets us know that fallen angels are not demons, but their offspring became demons. The Bible does however tell us the name’s of these four angels: Job 38: 31,32, says “Canst thou bind the sweet influences of PLEIADES, or loose the bands of ORION? Canst thou bring forth MAZZAROTH in his season? Or canst thou guide ARCTURUS with his sons?” Pleiades, Orion, Mazzaroth, and Arcturus were the names of these four angels. Pleiades was known as the influencer, and from him came forth those giants that could do such. The name “influences” comes from the Hebrew word “Maadannah”, a root word meaning to be dainty, delicate and to live voluptuously (sounds like Madonna). From Pleiades came forth Ashtaroth. Orion was known as the ‘burly one’, that is heavily built and rough. From him came the strangely built and demonically mad giants that caused great crime and sin. Mazzaroth was known as the Zodiac angel. From him came forth those giants that taught the Zodiac, soothsaying, and divination to men. Arcturus was known as ’the great bear’. From him came the giant murmurmers, from the word murmer. Zamzummims came from this line and also the lion looking giants. These giants were the ones who carried the spirit of depression, and they are that spirit itself.
Genesis 6:1-4 says “And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.” We know these were angels based on Jude 6,7 which says “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness UNTO the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” The phrase “Even as” means the same manner, or just as the angels. The word “unto” in Jude 6 means, against, before, or for in this context. Peter also refers to these angels in 2 Pe.2:4, which says, “…God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;” the word “Hell” in this passage comes the Greek word Tartaroo where we get the word Tartarus which means the deepest abyss of hades. The word abyss refers to the bottomless pit to the underworld, or to the deepest ocean floor. The abyss comes from the Greek word abussos depthless. In the Bible the word deep refers the abyss (Lu.8:31).
Outside sources have said that these angels who came to earth are called the Annunaki (sounds similar to Anakim) of Sumerian literature whose names were: An, Enlil, Ninhursaga, and Enki. The Egyptians called them “The Watchers”, whose names were: Ptah, Anubis, Osiris, and Horus. The Bible says again in Job 38:31,32, which says “Canst thou bind the sweet influences of PLEIADES, or loose the bands of ORION? Canst thou bring forth MAZZAROTH in his season? Or canst thou guide ARCTURUS with his sons?” Pleiades, Orion, Mazzaroth, and Arcturus were the names of these four angels. But if you notice Job 38:30 which says “The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep (abyss) is frozen.” The word frozen here suggest catching in a net, trap or a pit, also to capture. Notice the language of Job 38:31-32 “canst thou BIND…or LOOSE the bands…” they were bound in the abyss, or the deepest frozen part of hades. So the phrase “until Hell freezes over” has some credence. The Euphrates pours out into the depths of the Arabian Sea into the Indian Ocean. It seems that Tartarus is the Euphrates river or the deep these angels were bound in.
They have been loosed for the last stage of the beast. Rev.9:15, says they “…were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year…” John is telling us the reason they were not destroyed is that they were sat aside for this specific purpose. These angels were used in the destruction of first century Jerusalem. But it seems they will be used in battle before the return of the Lord. Chapter 9, speaks of 200 million military men preparing for warfare. Where will these people come from? Ezekiel 38, and 39, speak of Gog and Magog coming against Israel. Actually, Ezekiel 39, is before 38, according to Revelation 19, and 20. Rev.9:17-19, says “And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire smoke and brimstone. By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.” What John saw were men on tanks loaded with heavy artillery, whose breastplates were red (fire), jacinth (blue), and brimstone (yellow). The following nations have the flag colors of red, blue, and yellow: Armenia, Hungary, Rumania, Nagorno-Karabakh, Chad, Andorra, Moldova, Holland, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Malaysia, and Mecklenburg Germany. I don’t know if all these nations will be involved in the fight against Israel; but I know there will be many nations gathering.
