Friday, Nisan the 14th, the day called ‘The Preparation’ the day before the Sabbath. The year is A.D.33 Friday, Nisan the 14th, The Feast of Passover, The day of Jesus’ crucifixion. So ‘Good Friday’ is correct. It is a double Sabbath week. This is also the preparation of the Passover (John 19:14).
