Likewise

Luke 13:2-3 KJV [2] And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? [3] I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Jesus was speaking to the crowd, and many thought because calamity hit certain individuals that judgment was on them instead of others.

But Jesus let them know, except you repent you will find the same fate.

What happened in California didn’t happen because they were more evil than other cities in the United States, but except you repent the same could happen to you.

Many lost homes, and some lost their lives. Those who’ve lost homes may seem that they have lost everything, and it could seem that way. Jesus wants to save souls. This is a season where God is going to get the world’s attention. Don’t lose your soul.

Mark 8:35-36 KJV “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. [36] For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”
