Daniel 11:41 says “He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.”
This verse was speaking about Antiochus IV who was prefigured as the Antichrist.
The nations that would escape the grip of the Antichrist were Edom, Moab, and Ammon. Today, this is the land of Jordan. But why they would escape is found in Isaiah 16:3-4 which says “Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth. Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.”
Sela is the place where the outcasts will run to! Sela is PETRA!
