“John 16:7-8 says “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send Him unto you. And when He is come, He will reprove…”
The word “reprove” in this passage means to convict, convince, or rebuke. Isaiah 2:4 says “And He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.”
Also Micah chapter 4 mirrors this passage. The kings of this world fight one another; but our warfare is not carnal, it’s in the heavens. The beating of swords into plowshares represents the kingdom is spiritual. Plowshares are used for sowing seed. The weapon of the kingdom is the seed, the word of God.”
