Kathizo

Matthew 19:28 says “And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” It is imperative that we understand what Jesus is saying to the Apostles.

They will sit with him in “Kathizo” to hover over from a heavenly place in the regeneration, that is the millennial kingdom, judging the twelve tribes. This is the same language found in Revelation 20 and verse 4-6, but there it adds they will be priests of God. The proper eschatological view again is that of the Amillennial view which says that we are in the millennial kingdom now the 1000 years are symbolic for an extended period of time which I will keep repeating).

We sit in the Sanhedrin of God both in heaven and on earth. Each believer joins the rule of Christ in Baptism when they are raised to sit in heavenly places in Christ!

Christ rules in them on the earth, and they are seated in him in the heavens. This is why you must be born again, the first resurrection.
