Rest

“Genesis 8:4 says “And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.” The Hebrew seventh month is called Tishri (Our September-October). Later the feasts of Tabernacles would also be in the seventh month. Noah found Grace in the eyes of the Lord, for God predetermined that his name would be Noah which means “comforter” which pointed to the Holy Spirit that Christ would send by the Father that would give us rest. Matthew 11:28 says “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
