The Door

Christ who has the key of David would open the door to those who seek entry but only to those who have kept his word and has not denied his name, “Christian”: 1 Peter 4:16 says “Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.” Revelation 3:7-8 says “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.” Jesus tells his disciples that he IS the door. So, this would mean that he is giving keys to those who have kept his word and not denied his name to open the door to those seeking entry: John 10:7-9 says “Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” THE DOOR YOU ARE ABOUT TO ENTER INTO IS CHRIST HIMSELF!! John 10:1-4,27-28 says “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice…My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” This door is so vital that there is a separation from the sheep and the goats. Sheep listen to the voice of Christ. Sheep walk into the door of Christ. It is therefore the season of porters for the sheep. 1 Chronicles 16:37-38 says “So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day’s work required: And Obededom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obededom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be porters:” there was 68 there, meaning that 6 is the number of man and 8 being the new things of God, but not just new, but a new beginning for man in this upcoming year. It was Obededom that kept the ark in his home and he prospered for three months!! Worship will be the porter so you can go through multiple doors in the upcoming year!
