Taste the Lord that He is Good

“Matthew 5:6 says “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” This happens when Christ is drawing you to Himself, and once you have come, then this happens: John 6:35 says “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.” But this process is completed once you understand who you’re consuming. 1 Peter 2:3 says “If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.” John 6:53-54 also says “Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” How we eat His flesh and drink His blood is when we partake of Him in the Eucharist (Communion). Luke 22:19-20 says “And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.” NOTICE, he says THIS IS MY BODY, and THIS CUP IS THE NEW TESTAMENT IN MY BLOOD! Matthew 26:26-28 says it this way “And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” Psalms 34:8 says “O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”
